Job Details:
The Analytical Scientist will design, execute, and interpret microbiological experiments, ensure laboratory compliance, maintain instruments, and support analytical excellence in a regulated environment.
Position: Analytical Scientist – Microbiology
Department: Integrated Product Development Organisation
Experience Required: 2–3 years
Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Microbiology/Biotechnology
Location: India
Educational Requirements
- M.Sc. in Microbiology or Biotechnology
- Strong background in Life Science and microbiology research methodologies
- Understanding of analytical instrumentation and microbiological techniques
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure safety and compliance in microbiology laboratories
- Develop and validate analytical and microbial testing methods
- Handle sterility, bioburden, and endotoxin test methods
- Conduct microbial kill rate and potency studies as per FDA guidelines
- Prepare media, maintain cultures, and manage stock inventory
- Operate key equipment like laminar air flow, BSC, and sterilizers
- Execute environmental and water analysis for aseptic areas
- Perform documentation using LIMS, ICDAS, and Allyone software
- Support continuous improvement and GLP compliance initiatives
Skills Required:
- Proficiency in microbiological method development and validation
- Hands-on experience in analytical testing and laboratory equipment
- Familiarity with FDA guidelines and GLP standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
