Essential Qualifications:
- M.Sc. with 1st Class or equivalent in areas such as Food Technology, Food Science & Technology, Food Science & Nutrition, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, Biotechnology OR
- B.Tech with 1st Class or equivalent in areas such as Food Technology, Food Science & Technology, Biotechnology.
Internship Requirements:
Selected interns are required to assist scientists with various assignments in the field of Food Science & Technology.
Duration:
The internship is available for a maximum period of two years and is not extendable under any circumstances.
Age Limit:
Candidates should not exceed 25 years of age as of the last date of application: 28/11/2025. Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/PwBD/Women by 05 years and for OBC(NCL) by 03 years.
Stipend:
Rs. 24,000/- per month consolidated. No additional allowance is provided.
Terms and Conditions:
- Only candidates with declared results associated with the essential qualification are eligible to apply. Those with awaited results are not eligible.
- Selection will be based on a shortlisting process conducted by a designated committee. No TA/DA for attending the interview will be provided.
- Shortlisting may include criteria like percentage of marks, higher qualifications, experience, or a written test.
- Selected candidate results will be posted on the CFTRI website, and the engagement shall be temporary without any claim to permanent employment.
- Interns not meeting performance expectations may face termination, and the Director reserves the right to modify or cancel the advertisement.
