Key Responsibilities
- Conduct experiments on epigenetic regulation of anthocyanin biosynthesis in black rice
- Perform plant tissue culture and molecular biology assays
- Assist PI in research documentation, data analysis, and reporting
- Maintain laboratory records and adhere to research protocols
Essential Qualification
M. Sc. in any branch of Life Science with 60% marks and GATE/SET/NET
Desirable Qualification
- M. Sc. in Botany/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry.
- Prior laboratory experience in plant molecular biology, plant tissue culture.
- Basic understanding of genetics, molecular biology, plant development and/or plant physiology.
Age Limit
Not more than 28 Yrs. The upper age limit is relaxable up-to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to scheduled castes/tribes/OBC, women and physically handicapped candidates.
Fellowship
Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – Rs.37,000/- p.m. in first & second years and 42,000/- in third year upon upgradation. HRA will be provided as per ANRF norms.
