Job Overview:

  • Project titled: “DBT-BUILDER Institute of Bioinformatics and Applied Biotechnology
    (IBAB) Interdisciplinary Life Science Programme to Advanced Research and Education (LeveI1).”
  • Project Duration: Till 07.03.2027
  • Funding Agency: Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India
  • Principal Investigator: Prof. Vijayalakshmi M
  • Fellowship: Rs. 37,000 + HRA (Consolidated), Contractual appointment, renewable yearly or up to project completion.

Educational Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree (M.Sc./M.Tech or equivalent) / B.Tech. in Bioinformatics / Biotechnology / Life Sciences or related subjects with at least 60% marks or 6.50 CGPA.
  • Candidates who have qualified for CSIR-UGC-NET (Lectureship), DBT-BET, or GATE are desirable.
  • Strong programming skills are essential.

">Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience in analysing Next Generation Sequencing data and understanding machine/deep learning algorithms.
  • Ability to maintain accurate lab records and data, good organisational and prioritisation skills, team spirit, and willingness to learn new techniques.
