  2. B.E./ B.Tech. Only Route: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Technology in the fields listed above.
  3. M.Sc. + M.Tech. Route: M.Sc. in Life Sciences/ Biotech/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry AND M.Tech. in Biotechnology.
  4. M.Sc. Only Route: M.Sc. in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Botany/ Zoology/ Bioinformatics/ Life Sciences.

Essential Criteria (Marks & Preference)

  • Mandatory Marks:
    • UG/PG: Min. 60% (6.5 CGPA) for GEN/EWS/OBC-NCL, OR Min. 55% (6.0 CGPA) for SC/ST/PwD.
    • B.E./B.Tech. Only: Min. 70% (7.5 CGPA) for GEN/EWS/OBC-NCL, OR Min. 65% (7.0 CGPA) for SC/ST/PwD.
  • Preference: Candidates with a valid GATE/CSIR-UGC/DBT/ICMR NET qualification will be given preference.
  • Age Limit: 30 years (with up to 5 years relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Women/PwD candidates).
