Junior Research Fellow – 01 Position
Job Details:
The position is under a SERB-funded project focused on unraveling the mechanisms of FNBP4-mediated FMN1 regulation and actin cytoskeleton remodeling during cell migration.
- Fellowship: Rs. 37,000 per month + 24% HRA.
- Initial appointment: 1 year, extendable based on performance.
Educational Requirements:

Master’s degree (minimum 60%) in Life Sciences, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Zoology, or equivalent fields.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct advanced biological experiments.
- Participate in actin cytoskeleton studies.
- Support lab research activities under the PI.
Skills Required:
- Protein purification & actin purification
- Fluorophore labelling
- Actin reconstitution assays
- Fluorescence spectroscopy
- Western blotting
- Mammalian cell culture
