Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) / Project Associate–I
Project Title: Understanding the Functional Role of Neuronal Microtubule Modifications in Neurodegeneration
Principal Investigator: Dr. [Investigator’s Name, if mentioned in your PDF]
Project Funding: Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF)
Essential Qualifications:
- M.Sc. in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related fields from a recognized university/institute.
- Candidates must have qualified CSIR-NET / UGC-NET / GATE or equivalent national-level examination.
- For Project Associate–I: Candidates without NET/GATE but with strong research aptitude may also apply.
Desirable Skills:
- Hands-on experience in molecular biology, cell culture, and protein analysis techniques.
- Strong research background in cellular neuroscience or molecular biochemistry.
Fellowship:
- For JRF: ₹37,000 + 9% HRA per month (as per institute norms).
- For Project Associate–I: ₹25,000 + 9% HRA per month (depending on qualifications).
Tenure: The position is purely temporary, initially for one year, with the possibility of extension based on performance and project requirements.
Age Limit:
Maximum 28 years as of the last date of application. Age relaxation applicable as per Government of India norms for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates.
