Job Overview

As an Executive/Sr. Executive – Rice Processing, you will oversee plant operations, ensure product quality, optimize machinery performance, and ensure compliance with food safety standards. Key Responsibilities
- Production & Process Monitoring
- Supervise cleaning, de-husking, polishing, grading & packaging.
- Monitor process parameters to maintain quality and reduce wastage.
- Maintain daily production logs and reports.
- Quality Control
- Ensure rice meets customer & internal quality standards (moisture, whiteness, broken %).
- Coordinate sampling/testing with QC.
- Identify and correct quality deviations.
- Machine & Plant Operations
- Oversee efficient functioning of dehuskers, polishers, graders & color sorters.
- Report breakdowns, support preventive maintenance.
- Optimize settings for maximum efficiency and minimal losses.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain production, yield, and rejection records.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly operational performance reports.
- Support audit and traceability documentation.
- Safety & Hygiene
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI, GMP, HACCP, and other food safety norms.
- Maintain hygiene in processing areas and oversee pest control.
Key Skills & Competencies For Food Technology Jobs
