Job Overview
Astellas Pharma invites applications for the position of Clinical Trial Specialist at its Bengaluru location. The role supports the Clinical Trial Leads and Managers in the setup, execution, and close-out of interventional and non-interventional clinical studies — spanning early-phase, post-marketing, and access-based programs.
The Clinical Trial Specialist will collaborate across global, cross-functional teams to ensure seamless trial operations, protocol compliance, and quality deliverables in accordance with ICH-GCP guidelines and Astellas SOPs.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day trial operations with urgency and accountability to meet project milestones and deliverables.
- Maintain accurate and updated trial information in tracking systems; share regular updates with internal stakeholders.
- Participate in developing trial plans, system setups, and process implementation for consistent quality and compliance.
- Contribute to site feasibility assessments, database maintenance, and vendor coordination.
- Assist in CRO setup, TMF management, and quality documentation throughout study execution.
- Participate in data review and cleaning, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
- Coordinate investigator and site monitor trainings, maintaining related materials.
- Support patient-focused initiatives and engagement strategies for assigned studies.
- Ensure all activities adhere to GCP, SOPs, and regulatory standards during setup, conduct, and close-out phases.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Life Sciences
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in clinical trial operations or clinical research jobs.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and computer skills.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.
- Fluent in English (oral and written).
- Basic knowledge of clinical trial phases, protocol development, and ICH-GCP guidelines.
