Job Overview
The Associate – Clinical Data Management (CDS) supports end-to-end clinical research jobs and operations, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and compliance throughout all phases of clinical trials. This role collaborates with global study teams to deliver high-quality datasets and regulatory documentation for impactful drug development programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Portfolio Strategy, Planning & Delivery
- Execute data management deliverables for assigned clinical studies.
- Manage data acquisition, validation, and review to maintain quality and compliance.
- Ensure smooth data flow across systems and vendors during the trial lifecycle.
- Prepare and maintain documentation such as Data Management Plans and Project Plans.
- Support clinical submissions and regulatory response activities.
- Maintain excellence in clinical data management processes from setup to database lock.
- Project Management
- Implement consistent data standards for all clinical research jobs within the assigned projects.
- Ensure datasets align with protocol and study objectives.
- Track data progress and report key metrics to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with study teams to integrate multi-source data for decision-making.
- Apply domain knowledge in life sciences to ensure database accuracy and compliance.
- Support regulatory audits and submissions, ensuring adherence to GCP, ICH, and FDA guidelines.
- Enterprise Collaboration
- Lead and support process improvements to optimize clinical data management workflows.
- Participate in global initiatives to enhance collaboration and efficiency.
- Foster shared learning across the organization to strengthen data-driven clinical research outcomes.
Qualifications & Skills
- Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Medical Field, Informatics, Statistics, Health Information, Nursing, Pharmacy, or related area.
- Knowledge of clinical data management principles and trial processes.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Preferred:
- Advanced degree in life sciences or related discipline.
- Prior experience in global clinical research jobs or data management roles.
