Job Overview:
The Clinical Data Manager will be responsible for ensuring high-quality clinical trial data through efficient review, reconciliation, database checks, and documentation. The role requires strong knowledge of protocol review, query management, UAT, and data validation processes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Review and understand the study protocol and timelines.
- Perform data review, data reconciliation, and query management tasks.
- Escalate and action discrepancies in clinical data as appropriate.
- Implement study team feedback on clinical data.
- Perform external checks to handle manual discrepancies.
- Develop specifications, implementation, and testing for edit checks and listings (DVS).
- Perform UAT for the database.
- Develop study-specific procedure documents.
- Ensure effective implementation of standard metrics and reporting.
- Deliver error-free, high-quality data with no open queries.
- Maintain data management study files and documentation.
- Provide updates for data management services at internal and sponsor meetings.
- Identify out-of-scope tasks and escalate to the TDM.
- Assist the TDM in all study setup activities.
- Provide study-related reports to the TDM as requested.
- Perform SAE and vendor data reconciliation.
Skills Required:
- Strong understanding of CDM processes
- Knowledge of query management tools
- Experience in start-up, conduct, and closeout
