The Microbiologist Associate will carry out routine microbiological testing, ensure aseptic procedures, and maintain culture records, and support product quality and safety in line with regulatory standards. The role involves working closely with the quality team to monitor contamination and maintain compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and sterilize microbiological media, reagents, and buffers as per standard protocols.
• Perform microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and environmental samples.
• Conduct microbial limit tests, pathogen detection, and preservative efficacy tests (PET).
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards (e.g., BIS, ISO, IS, USP, IP).
• Maintain accurate records of experiments, observations, and results in lab documentation.
• Operate and maintain lab instruments such as autoclaves, incubators, laminar airflow cabinets, and microscopes.
• Support method development and validation for new products or formulations.
• Ensure good laboratory practices (GLP), hygiene, and biosafety procedures are followed at all times.
Requirements:
• B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Microbiology or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in microbiological testing and media preparation.
• Practical knowledge of microbial culture techniques and aseptic handling.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
• Strong observation, documentation, and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
Preferred Industry Background: Cosmetics, Pharmaceuticals, Food & Beverages, or Biotechnology.
