Job Overview
The Officer – Production Mammalian will be responsible for executing upstream manufacturing operations in Lupin’s mammalian production facility, including media preparation, bioreactor operations, cell culture, and cell banking. This is a prime opportunity for freshers seeking hands-on exposure in biotechnology jobs at Lupin.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute upstream manufacturing operations in disposable, SS, and glass bioreactors as per GMP procedures.
- Prepare, review, and maintain GMP documents, including SOPs, BPRs, qualification and validation protocols, technology transfer, and process-related documents.
- Perform media preparation, inoculum transfer, subculture operations, and media fill activities in accordance with written procedures.
- Carry out CIP (Clean-in-Place) and SIP (Sterilization-in-Place) for bioreactors, ensuring compliance with process protocols.
- Monitor in-process parameters and perform in-process sample analysis for media and cell culture operations.
- Maintain facilities and equipment for media preparation, cell culture, and cell banking operations.
- Collaborate with QC, QA, Engineering, Warehouse, MSAT, and R&D departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Participate in process qualification, tech transfer, and scale-up activities, and prepare related documentation.
Education & Experience
- Education: Graduation or Post-Graduation in Biotechnology.
- Experience: 0–3 years of hands-on experience in mammalian manufacturing or related processes is preferred.
