Job Overview:
The Field Application Specialist will support customers and internal teams with product expertise, application knowledge and technical support. The role ensures smooth design, validation and implementation of Sartorius products by providing demonstrations, product positioning insights, market knowledge and application development assistance. - Academic degree in Biological Engineering, Biotechnology, or related Life Sciences fields
- Familiarity with life science application technologies
- Understanding of emerging research topics (added advantage)
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the sales team with product demonstrations, application studies and presentations
- Assist with new product deployments and beta testing
- Lead application trials to design products aligned with customer processes
- Provide proactive technical support for inquiries and implementation issues
- Troubleshoot customer processes and assist in quality complaint investigations
- Analyze product performance data and customer feedback
- Report competitor insights to management
- Conduct basic product training for internal teams and customers
- Create detailed trial reports and collaborate on acceptance criteria development
Skills Required:
- Strong technical understanding of life science applications
- Experience in similar industry roles preferred
- Knowledge of laboratory processes and equipment
