Job Summary:
Bioinformatics Scientist will be responsible for delivering AI-driven bioinformatics solutions to clients using Elucidata’s technology. This is a customer-facing role that requires expertise in computational biology, AI applications, and multi-omics data analysis. The candidate will manage end-to-end project delivery, work closely with clients and internal teams, and ensure high-quality scientific outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage bioinformatics projects from initiation to delivery.
- Design and implement analysis pipelines for multi-omics and single-cell transcriptomics data.
- Collaborate with biologists, data scientists, and ML engineers to generate actionable insights.
- Drive innovation by developing scalable data analysis tools and solutions.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies to design effective bioinformatics solutions.
- Support pre-sales activities including product demos, technical presentations, and proposal development.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships ensuring timely and quality deliverables.
- Identify opportunities for business growth with existing and new clients.
Required Qualifications:
- Ph.D. with 2+ years or M.Sc. with 3–5 years of experience in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or related fields.
- Hands-on experience in analyzing multi-omics datasets (genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics).
- Strong expertise in single-cell transcriptomics data analysis.
- Proven experience in managing client-facing bioinformatics projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with cross-functional teams.
Good to Have:
- Proficiency in R and Python programming.
- Experience in NGS data integration and cloud-based computing platforms.
- Familiarity with AI/ML tools used for biological data interpretation.
- Publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
