The Department of Health Research (DHR)-sponsored project titled “Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) induced altered metabolic status and implantation failure: Therapeutic regulation via AMPK pathway” aims to understand the molecular mechanisms underlying PCOS-related fertility issues. The project explores metabolic alterations and potential therapeutic strategies through AMPK pathway regulation, providing key insights into reproductive biology and endocrinology.

Educational Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Zoology, Bioinformatics, or allied fields with at least 55% marks from a recognized university.
  • Must have qualified NET/GATE.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Research experience in mammalian reproductive physiology or endocrinology.
  • Prior experience in rodent handling and related laboratory techniques.

Age Limit:

  • Upper Age Limit: 28 years.
  • Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Female candidates as per Govt. of India norms.
  • Preference: SC/ST candidates will be given priority when all qualifications are equal.

Emoluments:

₹37,000/- + 20% HRA (1st & 2nd year), ₹42,000/- + 20% HRA (3rd year)
