Qualifications:
- Master’s degree (minimum 60% marks) in Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Botany, Life Sciences, or Plant Molecular Biology or equivalent discipline.
- Must meet eligibility norms as per DST Office Memorandum SR/S9/Z-05/2019 dated July 10, 2020.
- Candidates with laboratory experience in plant molecular biology, biochemistry, or bioinformatics will be preferred.
- Upper Age Limit: 35 years.
Job Description:
The Walk-in Interview will be held for one position of Project Associate-I under the “Short-Term Research Fellowship” programme. The role involves conducting advanced research in plant molecular biology, biochemistry, and bioinformatics. The appointment is purely temporary for one year and may be extended or curtailed depending on performance and institutional requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out molecular biology and biochemical experiments related to plant genomics.
- Conduct bioinformatics analysis and data interpretation.
- Prepare project documentation and contribute to research reports.
- Support lab activities and collaborate with fellow researchers.
