About the Role
The Scientist I – Cell Biology will be a key member of the antibody development team, focusing on optimizing cell culture workflows, reagent validation, and protein expression. You’ll work with mammalian and primary cell lines to support experiments critical to developing next-generation research tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform aseptic expansion and maintenance of mammalian cancer cell lines and primary cells.
- Conduct transfection in Expi293 and ExpiCHO suspension cell lines for protein expression.
- Maintain accurate data records to ensure data integrity and reproducibility.
- Plan and execute experiments independently while collaborating across teams.
- Contribute to scientific reports, documentation, and data analysis.
Required Qualifications
- Applicants should have a strong background in Cell Biology and a Master’s degree in Cell Biology/Biotechnology or related Life Science
- 0-3 years of research experience
- Experience with antibiotic-free suspension cell lines and protein expression systems.
- Strong understanding of cell biology, protein biochemistry, and molecular biology techniques.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in GLP/GMP environments and EHS certification preferred.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.
- Familiarity with data analysis software such as GraphPad Prism and MS Office tools.
- Publications in peer-reviewed journals will be considered a plus.
