Educational Requirements for the Scientist Bioanalytical Job:
- MSc./M.Tech./M.Pharm. in Biological Sciences or a relevant stream
- Strong foundation in analytical R&D and QC within the biopharmaceutical sector
Key Responsibilities for the Scientist Bioanalytical Job:
- Execute bioanalytical projects, testing reference standards and biological products
- Perform analytical chromatography (HPLC/UPLC/nLC), biochemical assays (SDS-PAGE, Western blot, IEF), and enzymatic/protein assays
- Conduct LOD and water content experiments; plan and execute RS and assay studies
- Analyze HPLC data using Empower, Open Labs CDS, or equivalent software
- Plan and execute compendial and R&D projects, including biologics proof-of-concept studies
- Troubleshoot laboratory issues and evaluate scientific reports
- Maintain compliance with QMS, cGLP/cGMP standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional/global teams and contribute to global biologics objectives
- Prepare and review project reports, SOPs, and participate in internal and ISO audits
- Recommend improvements in laboratory and project management processes
Skills Required for the Scientist Bioanalytical Job:
- Expertise in method development, validation, and technology transfer for biomolecules
- Proficiency in Ion Chromatography, SEC-MALS, Circular Dichroism, or Capillary Electrophoresis
- Knowledge of reference standards development for biopharmaceutical products
- Strong technical writing, communication, and presentation skills
- Experience with Electronic Laboratory Notebooks (ELN) and working in cGLP/cGMP environments
