Educational Qualification for the Project Scientist Role:
M.Sc., M.Tech in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or Environmental or Industrial Biotechnology or related field.
Work Experience:
Minimum 2 years of hands-on laboratory experience in microbial strain work, analytical testing, and operation of advanced lab instrumentation
Key Responsibilities of the Project Scientist Role:
A. Microbial Research & Analysis

In the Microbial & Biogas Research Jobs, you have to lead microbial workflows including strain isolation, culturing, and DNA extraction.
B. Analytical Testing & Instrumentation
- Analyze bio-slurry and organic fertilizer samples for nutrient and elemental content.
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments including UV-Vis, AAS, GC (FID/TCD), OES, spectrophotometer, flame photometer, centrifuge, and incubators.
C. Documentation & Compliance

Maintain detailed experimental records for internal use and regulatory compliance.
D. Coordination & Lab Management
- Candidates getting hired for the Research Jobs will collaborate with cross-functional units such as Fertilizer Testing and Fermentation Chemistry.
- Ensure laboratory safety, instrument readiness, and compliance with audit standards.
Skills Required for the Project Scientist Role:
- Proficiency in microbial techniques: strain isolation, culturing, DNA extraction
- Strong understanding of nutrient profiling and elemental analysis
