Educational Requirements for the Research Jobs:

Position Educational Qualification
Project Associate-I Master’s degree (minimum 60%) in Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Botany, Life Sciences, or Plant Molecular Biology or equivalent. Must fulfill eligibility norms as per DST OM No. SR/S9/Z-05/2019 dated July 10, 2020. Candidates with prior experience in plant molecular biology, biochemistry, or bioinformatics will be preferred.
Senior Research Fellow Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or related fields with two years’ post-master’s experience. Must have CSIR-UGC NET/GATE/DST-INSPIRE qualification and comply with DST OM No: DST/PCPM/Z-06/2022 dated June 26, 2023. Preference for experience in gene cloning, protein interaction, and/or plant tissue culture.

 

Key Responsibilities of the Research Jobs:

  • At BRIC-NIPGR, you have to conduct independent and collaborative research in molecular biology, biochemistry, or bioinformatics.
  • Assist in ongoing project experiments, data analysis, and documentation.
  • Manage laboratory tasks, maintain records, and support manuscript preparation.
  • Contribute to innovation and experimental design aligned with project goals.

Skills Required for the Research Jobs:

  • Sound knowledge of biotechnology, molecular biology, and bioinformatics.
  • Experience with gene cloning, protein interaction assays, or plant tissue culture preferred.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a research team.
