Job Description:

This Trainee – Translational Research role offers an exciting opportunity for candidates looking for research jobs and life science jobs. You will handle patient samples from clinical trials, perform molecular and cell biology assays, and ensure smooth, compliant data generation. This role provides significant exposure to clinical trial jobs in the rapidly growing field of cell therapy.

Research & Life Science Job – Key Responsibilities:

  • Process patient samples from clinical trials (PBMC, DNA, Plasma, Serum) and manage proper storage.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and reconciliation of all samples.
  • Execute molecular and cell biology assays (ddPCR, flow cytometry, other cell-based assays).
  • Support assay development and qualification of translational assays.
  • Ensure industry-standard documentation of experiments, protocols, and reports; assist in XOP generation and closure of change controls/CAPA.
  • Manage reagents, consumables, and laboratory inventory.
  • Assist with purchase and maintenance of equipment and coordination with FAO/QA.

Primary Objectives:

  • Manage patient samples and generate data for IMAGINE 2.0 & RECLAIM trials to support therapy approvals (e.g., QARTEMI for B-ALL).
  • Prepare for BCMA (IMN-006) clinical trials, gaining exposure to clinical trial jobs.

Research & Life Science Job – Competencies Required:

Technical Skills:

  • Handling human blood/tissue samples.
  • Molecular biology assays (qPCR, ddPCR).
  • Human/mammalian cell culture experience.
  • Immunoassays and flow cytometry (preferred).
  • Documentation, inventory management, basic statistical/data analysis skills.

Soft Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, adaptability, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, self-confident, and committed to continuous learning.
