Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated QC Microbiologist to join HCP Wellness Pvt. Ltd. in Ahmedabad. This QC Microbiologist job opportunity involves performing microbial testing on raw materials, in-process production materials, and finished products, while maintaining documentation and ensuring compliance with SOPs and FDA regulations. This role is ideal for candidates who are detail-oriented and passionate about maintaining the highest standards in quality control.
Key Responsibilities
- Approve sampling and inspection of incoming raw materials to assess microbial growth.
- Maintain and record microbial growth data and batch reports for raw materials, packaging materials, and in-process production.
- Approve in-process production materials by confirming specifications and conducting necessary lab tests.
- Communicate effectively with Purchase, Stock, Manufacturing, Packing line, and QA/QC departments regarding inspections, chemical testing, stability testing, fumigation, and further processes.
- Maintain calibration reports of all laboratory instruments.
- Prepare and develop products according to SOPs and flowcharts.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety standards.
- Participate in other QC-related tasks as required.
- Perform various microbiology quality control jobs, enhancing your skills in microbial testing and documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Microbiology.
- Basic computer knowledge, including MS Office, Excel, and Word.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple departments: Purchase, Stock, Manufacturing, Packing, QA/QC.
- Experience in microbial research, raw material testing, and documentation.
- Knowledge of FDA regulations, SOP compliance, and microbial culturing.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards.
