- Duration: 1 year (evaluation after 6 months)
- Fellowship: ₹30,000/month + 16% HRA (if hostel not availed)

Educational Requirements for the Project Associate Role:
- Postgraduate in Basic Sciences: Chemistry, Environmental Science, Geology, Geochemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology
- OR Graduate/Postgraduate in Professional Courses: Chemical Engineering, Environmental Technology, Biotechnology
- Selection via National Eligibility Tests (CSIR–UGC NET including lectureship, GATE) or national-level exams conducted by DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, IIT, IISc, IISER
Key Responsibilities for the Project Associate Role:
- Install and evaluate a 5 KLD SUSBIO ECOTREAT STP at BITS Pilani, Goa
- Monitor water quality using conventional and IoT-enabled sensor methods
- Assess energy consumption and by-product generation of tertiary treatment processes
- Document and analyze results to determine treated water suitability for various applications under CPCB and regulatory norms
Skills Required for the Project Associate Role:
- Knowledge of environmental chemistry and water treatment processes
- Familiarity with IoT-enabled monitoring systems (preferred)
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- Research-oriented with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in teams
