The Institute for Stem Cell Science and Regenerative Medicine (BRIC-inStem), Bangalore, is an autonomous institute under the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India. BRIC-inStem conducts collaborative research in stem cell biology, regenerative medicine, and translational research, fostering interdisciplinary approaches to address complex scientific questions that extend beyond the scope of a single laboratory.

Essential Qualification for Project Associate – I:
MS/MSc in any branch of Life Sciences. Preference for candidates cleared CSIR/UGC, ICMR, DBT
, GATE XL/Biotechnology. Strong molecular biology skills. Experience with CRISPR/dCas9 epigenome editing is an asset.Stipend Details:
- ₹37,000 + HRA per month for candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC / ICAR / ICMR NET (including lectureship/assistant professorship), GATE, or any national-level examination conducted by central government departments such as DBT/DST or equivalent institutions.
- ₹30,000 + HRA per month for other candidates who do not fall under the above category.
Tenure: 11 months (renewable based on performance and project requirements).
Post Title: Postdoctoral Fellow
- Salary: ₹58,000 + HRA per month
- No. of Posts: 01
- Age Limit: 35 years
- Qualification: Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Bioengineering, Biotechnology, or any Life Science branch.
- Experience: Strong background in cell and molecular biology. Skills in cloning, cell culture, stem cell work, DNA/RNA transfections, qPCR, western blot, ChIP, CRISPR/Cas9 will be an asset. Candidates should be detail-oriented, organized, and good team players with strong communication skills.
