Educational Requirements for the Trainee Officer Role:

Master’s degree in Microbiology or Biotechnology
Key Responsibilities for the Trainee Officer Role:
- Perform microbiological activities including environmental monitoring of classified areas and water testing (Bioburden, BET, Sterility).
- Prepare media for utility and area monitoring.
- Conduct subculturing, serial dilution of standard cultures, GPT, and identification of isolates.
- Sample and test water samples for quality assurance.
- Perform population determination of biological indicators.
- Operate laboratory instruments including pH meters, autoclaves, DHS, incubators, air samplers, and particle counters.
- Report deviations, out-of-specification results, and safety risks to supervisors promptly.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP standards and participate in change control and deviation investigations.
- Perform equipment qualification including autoclaves, DHS, incubators, and KTA.
- Conduct compressed air sampling and analysis.
- Maintain laboratory in audit-ready condition ensuring full cGMP compliance.
Skills Required for the Trainee Officer Role:
- Strong knowledge of microbiological techniques and procedures
- Understanding of environmental monitoring and laboratory instrumentation
- Familiarity with cGMP and quality systems (Change Control, Deviations, OOS)
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
