Role Overview
The Site Specialist II will join the Site Activation team, supporting critical activities in clinical trial start-up, site maintenance, and contract management. This role offers hands-on experience in Life Science Jobs, working closely with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to ensure the successful
activation and compliance of clinical trial sites globally. As part of ICON plc careers, you will gain exposure to clinical operations, study management, and regulatory processes, all while contributing to meaningful healthcare research.Key Responsibilities
- Support study start-up activities: review essential documents, manage green light processes, and ensure site activation readiness. Such tasks are integral to many Life Science roles.
- Handle site maintenance tasks: customize site-specific Informed Consent Forms (ICFs), coordinate translations, manage EC/IRB submissions, and maintain documentation in eTMF systems.
- Assist in contract management: understand site contract workflows, manage amendments, participate in negotiations, and ensure finalization of executed agreements, all vital for Life Science Jobs.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to meet timelines and maintain compliance.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders across global operations.
- Work flexible hours to support international clinical trial teams.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field.
- Strong understanding of study start-up, site maintenance, and contract management in clinical trials—key aspects of Life Science employment.
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with ICF customization, translation workflows, IRB/EC submissions, and contract negotiations is desirable.
- Willingness for Life Science Jobs and to work flexible shifts to align with global team needs.
