About MIT ADTU School of Bioengineering Sciences & Research Bioengineering is a multidisciplinary field that has gained immense importance in the global scenario. MIT ADTU School of Bioengineering Sciences & Research is a constituent unit of MIT-ADT University, Pune that aims to prepare youth for next generation careers in bioengineering by imparting interdisciplinary education and hands-on training through project-based learning in engineering and technology. The school envisions to empower young generation of India with research aptitude and technology skills to emerge as leaders in Bioengineering research, development and manufacturing sectors. It offers B. Tech. (Bioengineering), Int. M. Tech. (Bioengineering), M. Tech. (Environment Bioengineering) MSc. (Industrial Biotechnology), MSc. (Bioinformatics), MSc. (Clinical Research) and Ph.D. programs in Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Bioinformatics and Biomaterials. The super-specialized courses include Pharmaceutical Engineering, Synthetic Biology, Big Data Analytics, Biosensors and IoT, Biomedical Imaging, Biomechanics, Nano-Biotechnology, Robotics, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, Environmental bioengineering, etc. The school is equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories for carrying

out high-end research and provides pre incubation facilities for innovative product development.

About the Conference

International Conference on Recent Trends in Bioengineering (ICRTB) is an annual flagship event, organized by MIT ADTU School of Bioengineering Sciences & Research, Pune. The main objective is to bring together engineers, researchers, practicing clinicians, academicians, industry luminaries and government agencies to discuss the latest research in bioengineering and allied fields. The organising committee of ICRTB 2026 is pleased to invite prospective authors to submit their original abstracts to [email protected] for oral and poster presentations. Selected abstracts will be considered for oral presentation and will be published in the abstract book. Prizes will be awarded for the best oral and poster presentations. Selected manuscripts will undergo peer review and will be published in the relevant John Wiley journals.

Who Can Participate?

The conference invites participation from graduate/postgraduate students, research
scholars and faculties from various universities, colleges, industry personnel, consultants
in environmental & sustainability sectors as well as medical practitioners.

What are the Themes?

ICRTB 2026 has three sub themes for this year focusing on biomedical applications, drug
design, and bioenergy as these growing sectors contribute to improving quality of life
and promoting a sustainable future by preserving the environment.

The conference will highlight three transformative themes shaping the future of bioen-
gineering:

Biomedical Applications that explore the integration of engineering and life sciences to
develop innovative medical devices, diagnostics, and therapeutic solutions that improve
patient care.

Drug Design including the sub themes of computational biology, molecular modeling,
and experimental research to accelerate the discovery of safe and effective therapeutics.

Bioenergy highlights sustainable technologies and biological systems that harness renewable resources, contributing to global efforts toward cleaner energy and environmental preservation.

Together, these themes represent the convergence of science, technology, and innova-
tion for a healthier and more sustainable world.

Publication

ICRTB 2026 is now accepting abstract submissions for oral and poster presentations. The
abstract and paper templates are given in the website’s download section. Selected
abstracts will be considered for oral or poster presentations and published in the abstract
book.
