What We’re Looking For

• Experience: Minimum 1+ years in genetic counseling.
• Proficiency: Skilled in counseling for prenatal, preconception, pediatric, and adult-onset disorders.
• Language Skills: Kannada speaking skills are mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide genetic counseling to patients and families across prenatal, pediatric, and adult-onset conditions.
• Collect and analyze family, medical, and genetic histories to assess hereditary risks.
• Explain genetic concepts, risks, and testing options in a clear and empathetic manner.
• Collaborate with clinicians, laboratories, and healthcare professionals to support patient care.
• Assist in test selection, interpretation of results, and preparation of counseling reports.
• Guide patients and families on preventive measures, management strategies, and future planning.
• Ensure accurate documentation while adhering to ethical and regulatory standards.
• Participate in training, awareness programs, and research initiatives.

Education

• Master’s degree in Lifescience, Human Genetics, or a related field from a recognized institution.
