Key Responsibilities:

Meril Life Science is seeking a Structural Biologist to join our drug discovery team in Vapi. The ideal candidate will have expertise in structural bioinformatics, protein-ligand interactions, and structure-based drug design. This role is strictly dry-lab focused, ideal for professionals passionate about drug discovery and design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Structure-based design of small molecules and protein therapeutics.
• Analyze protein-ligand interactions and guide lead optimization.
• Conduct molecular dynamics (MD) simulations and free energy calculations.
• Collaborate closely with computational and medicinal chemistry teams.

Mandatory Skills & Experience:

• Strong chemical knowledge and programming/coding skills.
• Proficiency in structural modeling and refinement tools (Phenix, PyMOL, Chimera, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with MD simulations (GROMACS, AMBER, CHARMM, etc.).
• Familiarity with docking and structure-based drug design platforms.
• Expertise in structural biology techniques (X-ray crystallography, cryo-EM, or NMR).
• Experience in drug discovery/design, small molecule generation, and docking is preferred.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Structural Biology, Biophysics, Computational Biology, or a related field.
• Candidates with Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees and relevant experience are also welcome to apply.

Additional Information:

• Focus: Dry-lab work only.
• Experience: 0 to 3 years.
• Compensation: ₹4 LPA – ₹15 LPA (experience-based, aligned with last drawn salary).
