Job Description:
Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the feed manufacturing unit to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality production of poultry feed. Includes supervision of staff, inventory management, process optimization, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Roles and Responsibilities include:
• Plan, organize, and oversee daily feed production to meet poultry farm requirements efficiently and on schedule.
• Manage and supervise all aspects of feed production, including scheduling, monitoring, evaluating performance, and delegating tasks.
• Monitor and control raw material inventory, ensuring timely procurement, proper storage, and minimal wastage.
• Ensure stock availability to support uninterrupted day-to-day feed production.
• Coordinate with procurement and nutrition teams to maintain consistent supply and correct feed formulations.
• Operate and optimize production processes to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Enforce safety, hygiene, and regulatory compliance, including GMP, HACCP, and ISO standards.
• Maintain accurate records of production, quality, inventory, and overall performance metrics.
• Identify and resolve production or quality issues promptly to ensure product integrity and customer satisfaction.
• Support product development and feed formulation in collaboration with nutritionists or R&D teams.
• Coordinate with logistics to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of finished feed products.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives in production processes and workforce development.
• Develop and manage the production budget, analyzing costs and operational efficiency.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and technological innovations to maintain compliance and competitiveness.
