Job Summary:
We are looking for a Quality Control / Lab Assistant to join Shelke Group – Ovii Masale at our Kondhapuri Plant. The role involves inspecting raw materials, monitoring production processes, testing finished products, maintaining QC records, and supporting compliance audits. Ideal candidates should have 1–2 years of experience and a B.Tech/M.Tech in Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or Life Sciences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect and test incoming raw materials (spices, herbs, etc.) for quality, purity, and compliance with company standards.
• Verify supplier Certificates of Analysis (COAs).
• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, and GMP standards.
• Conduct moisture, ash, volatile oil, and microbial tests as required.
• Perform routine laboratory analysis of finished products (color, aroma, grind size, adulteration check, microbial safety).
• Ensure packaging and labeling meet quality standards.
• Maintain QC records
• Prepare daily/weekly reports for Plant Manager/Production Head.
• Support internal and external audits (FSSAI, ISO, customer audits).
