Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related field, or equivalent
- RN in a related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Key Responsibilities for the Clinical Research Associate position:
- Oversee clinical trial progress, ensuring adherence to protocol, SOPs, GCP, and regulatory requirements
- Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders at site level
- Identify and assess potential investigators and sites for clinical trials
- Conduct site initiation, monitoring, and closure activities
- Ensure completeness and quality of study data; monitor eCRFs
- Train site personnel and support regulatory compliance audits/inspections
- Resolve site issues proactively and escalate serious concerns when necessary
- Manage multiple protocols across therapeutic areas with potential travel
Skills Required for the Clinical Research Associate position:
- Knowledge of ICH/GCP guidelines and clinical research processes
- Experience in drug discovery/development and medical records management
- Strong organization, time management, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships under pressure
- Must be willing to travel up to 75% regularly
- Prior Pharma/Biotech sponsor experience or clinical study coordinator background preferred
