Summary of Responsibilities:
In this Records Management Job, you will be responsible for maintaining paper and electronic documents within the electronic Trial Master File (eTMF) according to regulatory, legal, and compliance standards.
Key tasks include:
- Candidates getting hired for the Records Management Job will be storing and retrieving documents from archives or long-term storage while maintaining document security.
- Collecting, indexing, and storing newly received paper documents.
- For this Clinical Research Job, you will be utilizing electronic imaging and quality control applications to ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and other relevant guidelines.
- Assisting in migrating paper documents into the eTMF system and maintaining document quality standards.
- In this Clinical Research Job at Fortrea, you will be performing various document management tasks, supporting projects, and maintaining accurate archive databases.
- Responding to complex records management queries and ensuring quick document retrieval.
- Presenting records management capabilities to clients and auditors during inspections.
- Leading projects with minimal supervision and training new team members.
Qualifications (Minimum Required):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Records Management, or Library Sciences (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in records management, preferably in the pharmaceutical or clinical research industry.
- Strong understanding of ICH/GCP guidelines and record retention requirements.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and clinical electronic systems.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications for the Records Management Job:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or equivalent.
- 2+ years in a records management environment handling Regulatory/Clinical documents.
- Experience with eTMF systems and familiarity with record retention standards.
- Strong skills in document scanning, indexing, and quality assurance.
- Proven ability to collaborate across teams and drive process excellence.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Office-based role with occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs).
- Approximately 5% travel to Fortrea locations, client, or vendor sites.
