role is ideal for candidates skilled in Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Microbiology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, and Biochemistry.About the GENESEQ Indexing:
The GENESEQ Team is a key knowledge-driven group within Clarivate’s Intellectual Property Group. Comprising 37 colleagues with diverse backgrounds in biotechnology, bioinformatics, microbiology, genetics, molecular biology, and biochemistry, the team is focused on producing accurate and valuable sequence data.
Educational Requirements for the Associate STEM Content Analyst Role:
- Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Microbiology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, or Biochemistry.
- Fresher or up to 1-year experience in patent indexing, disease indexing, or abstract writing.
- Preferred: 1–2 years of experience in patent indexing, gene sequencing, and genetics.
Key Responsibilities for the Associate STEM Content Analyst Role:
- Apply biotechnology, genetics, and molecular biology concepts to curate biological sequences from patent documents.
- Index sequences manually, including those found in PDFs or TIFF images and sequences not listed electronically.
- Create additional records for mutated sequences and claimed SEQ ID fragments.
- Meet weekly production and quality targets.
- Maintain workplace safety and adhere to recognized codes of practice.
Skills Required for the Associate STEM Content Analyst Role:
