About the Position
- Position: Project Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
- Project Title: Role of Endoplasmic Reticulum (ER) and Mitochondria in Pigmentation: Organelle Calcium Signaling Perspective
- Duration: Till May 2026
- Location: Regional Centre for Biotechnology, Faridabad, Haryana, India
- Fellowship: ₹42,000/- + 27% HRA per month
- Principal Investigator: Dr. Rajender K. Motiani
- Key Responsibilities
- Conduct advanced research on pigmentation biology, focusing on ER and mitochondria calcium signaling.
- Design and execute experiments involving melanocyte cell culture.
- Analyze data and contribute to high-impact publications in SCI-indexed journals.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to explore organelle signaling mechanisms in pigmentation.
- Eligibility Criteria
- Education: M.Sc. in Biotechnology or Life Sciences with at least 70% marks.
- National Fellowship Qualification: Qualified for the National Level JRF fellowship, such as CSIR/UGC/DBT JRF.
- Experience: Minimum of two years in pigmentation biology research with publications to support.
- Desirable Skills: Experience in melanocyte cell culture and pigmentation biology research.
- Age Limit
- Up to 32 years (as per project norms).
