Job Description
This Biological Science Job Vacancy in Hyderabad and Bangalore at Parexel is for the position of Data Surveillance Analyst (DSA). The role involves analyzing scientific and operational data, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with clinical standards. As part of Parexel’s central monitoring team, the DSA develops and reviews Data Surveillance Plans (DSPs) and evaluates Quality Tolerance Limits (QTLs) for global research projects. Key Responsibilities
Data Surveillance Plan Development & Technology Configuration:
- Support the creation of robust Data Surveillance Plans (DSPs) with Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Quality Tolerance Limits (QTLs).
- Configure and maintain Data Surveillance technologies (e.g., CluePoints Central Monitoring Platform).
- Develop data import mapping for multiple sources and set up KRIs and statistical parameters.
Data Surveillance Review:
- Review and analyze project data in alignment with the DSP.
- Document findings and collaborate with technology teams for solution implementation.
- Identify trends, outliers, and issues, and take corrective actions accordingly.
- Participate in internal and external meetings, audits, and inspections.
- Prepare and file Central Monitoring Reports to ensure comprehensive documentation.
Collaboration & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with ICH-GCP guidelines and Parexel SOPs.
- Contribute to a collaborative work environment across global teams.
- Support the Data Surveillance Review process and maintain up-to-date documentation for every review cycle.
Skills Required for Data Surveillance Analyst Role:
- Strong understanding of RBQM processes and data surveillance methods.
- Proficient in data analysis, trend identification, and centralized monitoring.
- Knowledge of CTMS, EDMS, MS Office, and Parexel-specific technologies.
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently in virtual global teams.
