Applications are invited for the one position of Senior Project Associate for the following time-bound sponsored projects as per the details given below:

Educational Qualifications:
i) Master’s degree in Natural Science (Bioinformatics/Computational Biology/Data Science) or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized university or equivalent. AND
ii) Four year’s experience in R&D in Industrial and Academic Institutions of Science and Technology. Organizations and Scientific activities and services. [OR]
iii) Doctoral Degree in Science/Engineering/Technology/Pharma/MD/MS from a recognized university or equivalent.
Job Description:
NGS data analysis and programming in LINUX environment using open-source resources & data compilation team and data analytics development of dashboards and portals.
Desirable:
i) Extensive experience in the analysis of Next-generation sequencing data.
ii) Very good knowledge of NGS analysis tools, bioinformatics softwares & databases.
iii) Work experience in the area of Bioinformatics/IT/Computer applications. Strong computer programming skills (in PERL/Python/ or C++ or object-oriented database management systems like MySQL etc. or scripting languages under LINUX/UNIX environment) and development of AI/ML methods.
The candidates must highlight their research experience with dates and duration in their CV. Applications where experience is not highlighted will be rejected.
Emoluments: Rs 42,000/- consolidated p.m. plus 27% HRA (As per DST OM dated 10.07.2020)
General Terms & Conditions:

The candidates selected for the above posts will be on contract for one year or till the duration of the project whichever is shorter, at a time.
