Post: Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
Number of Positions: 1
Project Duration: Up to 31-03-2026 (extendable until 17-07-2026)
Qualifications:
- Four years Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree (M.Sc. or equivalent) in Life Sciences/Biochemistry/Molecular Biology/Biotechnology/Zoology/Microbiology or related subjects with at least 60% of marks or 6.50 CGPA from a recognized university.
- Two years of research experience in the area of Molecular Biology/Cell Biology/Virology.
Fellowship Pay: As per DST/ANRF norms
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in a BSL2 cell culture facility
- Excellent hands-on skills in culturing and maintenance of cell lines
- Experience in cloning and DNA/RNA analysis
- Good organisational and prioritization skills
Scope of the Project: The successful candidate will conduct CRISPR-based functional analyses of dengue virus host factors in human cell lines using molecular biology and cell biology techniques.
