Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a SERB-CRG sponsored project led by Dr. Geetanjali Chawla at the Department of Life Sciences, School of Natural Sciences, Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence, located in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualification: Post Graduate Degree
in Basic Science with a National level Test (NET, GATE) qualification, or Graduate Degree in a Professional Course with National Level Test qualification, or Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course.Desirable: Hands-on experience in advanced RNA biology techniques and/or Drosophila genetics.
Fellowship
Monthly stipend of Rs. 37,000/- + 8% HRA
Duration
The contract will be in effect until December 31, 2025, with the possibility of extension based on funding availability and performance evaluation.
Project Description
This project focuses on exploring the impact of auxiliary miRNA biogenesis factors on ageing and age-related diseases using the fruit fly model.
