- Salary: ₹37,000 + 16% HRA (1st & 2nd Year); ₹42,000 + 16% HRA (3rd Year onwards)

Essential Qualifications:
- B.Sc. (Agri.)/B.Sc. (Biotechnology) with at least 60% marks or OCPA 6.00/10.00.
- M.Sc. in Plant Breeding/Plant Breeding & Genetics/Agriculture Biotechnology/Plant Pathology/Botany with at least 65% marks or OCPA 6.50/10.00. Graduates interested in research jobs should note that opportunities exist at Punjab Agricultural University.
Note:
- Candidates with a Ph.D. in the relevant discipline are also eligible, even if they do not hold a Master’s degree in that field.
- Candidates with a postgraduate degree in Basic Sciences and a three-year Bachelor’s degree must have a NET qualification, plus two years of research experience (Ph.D. candidates are exempt).
