About the Role
As a Patent Search Senior Analyst, you will:
- Execute patent and non-patent literature searches (novelty, state of the art, FTO, validity, patentability).
- Perform qualitative analysis of patents and technical literature.
- Develop complete and accurate search strategies to identify relevant prior art.
- Deliver high-quality reports aligned with client expectations and project objectives.
- Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and trainings to strengthen search skills.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and patent databases.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and achieve team KPIs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or related domain.
- At least 2 years of experience in IP services.
- Intermediate knowledge of US, European, and global patent laws.
- Expertise in patent and non-patent literature search databases.
- Strong skills in MS Word and MS Excel.
Preferred
- M.Sc/M.Tech/PhD in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or related field.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (charts, graphs, data handling).
