Project & Position Details

• Position: Project JRF
• Project Title: “Targeting riboswitches with synthetic small molecules for the development of antimycobacterial agents”
• Principal Investigator: Dr. Ambadas B. Rode, Associate Professor
• No. of Positions: One
• Tenure: Initially for six months, extendable based on requirement and performance, till the duration of the project.
• Essential Qualifications
  • M.Sc. in Life Sciences with minimum 60% marks or equivalent.
  • Must have cleared NET/DBT-JRF/GATE or equivalent national-level examination.
• Desirable Qualifications
  • Research experience
    in:
    • Antibacterial assays
    • Mice handling (drug injections, blood/organ collection, etc.)
    • Molecular biology and biophysical techniques such as ITC, SPR, BLI, Western Blot, and PCR analysis
  • Candidates must upload a certificate of related experience from the concerned Principal Investigator.
• Emoluments
  • Rs. 37,000/- + 24% HRA per month
