Post Doctoral Research Fellowship – Position Details
- Post Name: Postdoctoral Research Fellow (PDRF)
- No. of Posts: 01 (One)
- Tenure: Initially for 1 year, extendable after performance review
- Fellowship:
- Rs. 58,000/- + 9% HRA per month (for Ph.D. awarded candidates)
- Rs. 42,000/- + 9% HRA per month (for candidates awaiting Ph.D. viva, with proof of thesis submission)
- Nominal research grant is also available under the program
- Age Limit: Not more than 40 years as on the closing date
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification:
- Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Biology, or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute.
- Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis and are awaiting viva/defense may also apply.
- Experience Required:
- Proven record of high-quality research (publications/presentations) during or after Ph.D.
- Experience with Python and R programming.
- Hands-on expertise with next-generation sequencing (NGS) data analysis.
- Desirable:
- Knowledge of yeast genetics, meiosis, DNA repair, or genome biology.
