About the Positions
NIPGR is conducting a walk-in interview on October 13, 2025 (Monday) from 10:00 a.m. onwards to recruit two Research Associate-I candidates. The posts are purely temporary and co-terminus with the respective projects
.Available Research Projects:
- DBT Project: “Investigation of the molecular intricacies, mechanisms and role of Methionine Sulfoxide Reductase A (MSR A) in preserving seed vigor and viability in rice during seed aging and storage.”
- Post: Research Associate-I
- Fellowship: ₹58,000 + HRA (as per DBT norms)
- ANRF-CRG Project: “Investigation of the role of AtSKIP31-JAZ-ABI TFs module in integrating ABA-JA signaling for the acquisition of seed desiccation tolerance and seed vigor in Arabidopsis thaliana.”
- Post: Research Associate-I
- Fellowship: ₹47,000 + HRA (as per DST norms)
Eligibility Criteria
- PhD in Life Sciences or equivalent with a strong publication record.
- Desirable: Prior experience in plant biology, transgenics, genome editing (Arabidopsis/Rice), and molecular analysis of genetic events.
- Candidates must fulfill DST guidelines (Office Memorandum DST/PCPM/Z-06/2022, June 26, 2023).
