Position Details
- Post: Junior Research Assistant (JRA)

- Project Duration: 3 years (co-terminus with project)
- Tenure: Initially 1 year, extendable up to 3 years based on performance
- Fellowship / Salary
- First 2 years (JRA): ₹25,000/- per month (consolidated)
- 3rd year (Senior Research Assistant – SRA): ₹28,000/- per month (consolidated)
Essential Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Botany, Life Sciences, Plant Science, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Bioscience, Biochemistry, or related fields.
- Minimum First Division in both Graduate and Postgraduate levels.
- Candidates with higher qualifications are also eligible.
Desirable Skills
- Research experience in plant biology, molecular biology techniques (PCR, gel electrophoresis, etc.), and plant tissue culture.
- NET/GATE qualified candidates will be given preference.
- Experience working with stress biology or protein regulation will be an advantage.
Age Limit
- 28 years as of 01.04.2025
- Relaxation as per GoI rules for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates.
