ICMR-CAR-MANASI Project – Project Research Scientist I (Non-Medical) [Trial Coordinator]
St. John’s Research Institute invites applications for the role of Project Research Scientist I (Non-Medical) [Trial Coordinator] for the ICMR-CAR-MANASI Project in Bangalore. This project focuses on maternal and child health, addressing nutrition during pregnancy and body composition in infants and school children.
Position Details

Preferred Qualifications: A postgraduate degree (Master’s or PhD) in Public Health, Nutrition, Life Sciences, or a related field, with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will oversee all trial operations across multi-centric sites, including participant recruitment, scheduling, and retention. They will coordinate the field team, including nutritionists and phlebotomists, ensuring strict adherence to study protocols. Responsibilities also include maintaining data integrity, managing study logistics, and serving as the primary liaison between the Principal Investigator, site staff, and ethics committees (IERB).
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience in coordinating multi-centric clinical or community-based research trials.
- Experience with participant recruitment, data management, and IERB/regulatory submissions.
- Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
- Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and national ethical research guidelines.
