The Tata Memorial Centre (TMC) – Centre for Cancer Epidemiology (CCE), Navi Mumbai, an institute under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, is conducting a Walk-in Interview for the post of Senior Research Fellow (SRF). This is a project-based role (6 months or till project continuation) offering a salary of ₹36,000 – ₹1,00,000 per month. - Salary: ₹36,000 – ₹1,00,000 per month
- Duration: 6 months or till the continuation of the project
- Eligibility Criteria:
- Education: M.Sc. in Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Molecular Biology / Biochemistry.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant research experience.
- Hands-on Experience Required in:
- Genome-Wide Association Studies (GWAS)
- Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS) using Illumina platforms
- Handling ICP-MS instruments (Thermo Fisher iCAP TQ-ICP-MS preferred)
- Analysis of heavy metals (Cr, As, Pb, Cd, Se) in biological samples
- SOP preparation, data management, lab inventory
- Drafting experimental protocols, scientific reports, and manuscripts
- Experience in multi-centre collaborations & international research documentation
