Job Overview
TERI is inviting applications for the position of Project Associate (Consultant) at TERI-Gram. The role offers an exciting opportunity to work on microbial isolation, culturing, and metabolite screening as part of cutting-edge research in sustainability and biotechnology. The selected candidate will be responsible for independent lab work, data analysis, and scientific documentation while contributing to multidisciplinary projects.
- Experience Required: 1–3 years
- Qualification:
- Master’s in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or related fields
- National eligibility test qualification (CSIR-NET, GATE, or equivalent) is desirable
- Application Deadline: September 14, 2025
- Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹50,000 per month
Project Associate at TERI – Key Responsibilities
- Isolate, culture, and maintain diverse microbial strains from soil and plant sources.
- Optimize growth conditions using microscopy, growth curves, and analytical parameters.
- Identify microbial strains through microscopic and molecular techniques.
- Document findings, maintain laboratory records, and prepare technical reports & publications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while ensuring compliance with biosafety protocols.
