Freshers Job at Avantor – About the Role
The Junior Associate – Product Master Data will support Avantor’s enterprise data management strategies by investigating, analyzing, and resolving data quality issues across core applications. This role includes executing mass data management processes
, maintaining documentation, and ensuring accuracy in product, pricing, and supplier information.Key Responsibilities
- Extract, analyze, and update large datasets while ensuring high data quality.
- Manage product add forms, coordinating with marketing, supply chain, pricing, regulatory, and supplier teams.
- Oversee product maintenance – attribute changes, discontinuation, warehouse ties, and coding updates.
- Support product pricing activities by maintaining accurate supplier pricing.
- Conduct mass data imports, cleansing initiatives, and system enhancements testing.
- Maintain documentation, including data dictionaries, SOPs, and training materials.
- Audit and validate data to eliminate redundancy and ensure workflow accuracy.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support change management and data flow dependencies.
Minimum & Preferred Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Life Sciences or related fields.
Experience:
- 0–5 years of work experience in manufacturing, distribution, or data management environments preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
- Intermediate to advanced Excel, Access, SAP, and SQL skills.
- Strong critical thinking, data analysis, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication (oral & written) and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Avantor systems (STIBO, QlikView) is a plus.
